This summer's “Walk and Talk” schedule has begun. “Walk and Talks” offer an opportunity for citizens to meet with officers from all areas of the department. During these events, officers conduct door-to-door visits as they seek ways to collaborate and improve Elgin's neighborhoods. The schedule is as follows:

Providence Neighborhood - 7/31/2012 Tuesday 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm
NENA Neighborhood -8/11/2012 Saturday 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Garden Quarter Neighborhood - 8/21/2012 Tuesday 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Del Webb Neighborhood - 8/22/2012 Wednesday 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm
