[ARCHIVED] Ride for Life as part of Bike to Work Week

Join us for a fun and enjoyable bike ride through Kane County. Ride for Life will be the final event during Elgin’s celebration of Bike to Work Week 2012! Ride proceeds this year will go towards maps of recommended bike routes to help riders get around within the city of Elgin and nearby areas. The ride consists of flat to rolling rural roads (25 or 60-mile routes) or a 15-mile family-friendly route primarily on trails.


Cost: Adult: $25, ($30 the day of)
Age 10 & under: FREE with paid adult

Start Place: Village Pedaler
1954 Gyorr Avenue
South Elgin, IL 60177

Registration: 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

Start Time: Must start by 10:00 a.m. and be finished by 3:30 p.m.
Riders registering for 60-mile ride must start by 9:00 a.m.

Safety: All riders must wear helmets.
SAG wagon and rest stop support will be provided until 3:30 p.m.

Post Ride Activities: Pizza and other tasty treats
