They say a good deed is its own reward, but what if you can get in some healthy outdoor exercise at the same time?
Hawthorne Hill Nature Center is planning a workday from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 24, to clean up the woods. Clear out buckthorn, honeysuckle, and other aggressive, invasive woody species to make a difference — both in the health of this ecosystem and for the health of your body.Volunteering at Hawthorne Hill is a great way to get in shape and make a difference in the natural world.
