Tuesday, Nov. 1, is the day you can find out what programs, events and athletic activities Elgin is offering during the colder months ahead. That is the day the city will make its winter programs brochure available, both online and in print. The brochure features more than 180 different programs that offer you the opportunity to get out and get active, no matter what your interest.
The winter programs brochure will be viewable online at the city of Elgin’s website, www.cityofelgin.org. Online registration for most programs is also available on the city’s website for residents who want the convenience of registering from home.
If you prefer a printed copy of the brochure, you may pick one up at any city-owned facility, as well as at the Gail Borden Public Library and its Rackow Branch, and at the Elgin Township offices.
The winter brochure includes information about programs that run from January through March and information about all Parks and Recreation facilities and services. The Elgin Parks and Recreation Department creates community through people, parks and programs.
