The City of Elgin offers FREE curbside collection of Christmas trees beginning Tuesday, December 27th thru Friday, January 13th. Simply place your tree at the curb on your scheduled trash collection day and it will be picked up free of charge---no prepaid stickers are required during this period. Be sure to remove all decorations and stands from trees prior to placing them out for collection. Do not place trees in plastic bags.
