[ARCHIVED] Elgin's Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association to Host Special Garage Sale

Elgin’s Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association will host a special garage sale to benefit the Elgin Police Department’s three police dogs Thursday-Saturday, Sept. 16-18 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day in Elgin’s Valley Creek subdivision, 2065 Belvidere Line Dr.

Sale items will include toys, clothes, books and more.

Proceeds from the garage sale will be used for equipment and support for EPD’s canines Deutsch, Keiser and Gage, who will also make appearances at the fundraiser with their handlers.

Elgin’s Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association is a not-for-profit organization comprised of Citizens Police Academy graduates who have continued their police department involvement by volunteering and fundraising.
