The Fox Valley Model T Club invites vintage cars from all around the area to celebrate the 100 year anniversary of the first Elgin National Road Race in this very rare event.
Revisit the past with the Fox Valley Model T Club, their Marvelous Men & Machines. Enjoy the cars, jazz, watermelon seed spitting, 3-legged races, costumed drivers, Eddie Rickenbacker*the Reckless Racer, Mary Poppins singin’ her heart out, Grannie's Lemonade, old-fashioned root beer floats, bocce ball and a little bit of rare history.
The free event takes place at Sherman West Court, 1950 Larkin Ave in Elgin and is anchored by The City of Elgin, The Elgin Historical Society, Books @ Sunset, Elgin's Downtown Neighborhood Association. For registration details, contact Steve Thoren
