To offer Elgin residents more free fun this summer, the City of Elgin Special Events Office presents “Movies in the Park”, a new weekly series of family friendly films. During the months of July and August, families can enjoy a movie under the stars in the beautiful setting of Festival Park, each Thursday evening. The series begins July 1 and runs through August 26.
Each Movie in the Park will begin at 7:00 p.m. with special activities corresponding to the movie theme of the evening. Local not-for-profit agencies will be providing games, and other fun activities for children and parents to enjoy prior to sundown, when the film showing will begin.
