The City of Elgin will be holding its annual Spring Clean-Up the week of March 23-27, 2009. Residents will be allowed to dispose of properly prepared trash, yard waste and bulk items free of charge during this designated week on their regular trash collection day only. Think Green… and Blue
Residents are asked to keep in mind that many unwanted items can be reused, recycled or even donated rather than ending up in a landfill.

Other items such as old computers, monitors, other electronic items and books can be recycled free of charge at the Kane County Electronics & Book Recycling Drop-Off Program at the Kane County Circuit Clerk Building, 540 S.
