Heavy snow and icy conditions have halted Waste Management’s trash collection efforts in Elgin this morning.
“Customers with a normal Friday collection date will have trash collection on Saturday,” said Dave Lawry, Elgin’s General Services Group Director.
Residents are reminded that trash should be ready for collection by 6 a.m.
