In addition to premier entertainment, The City of Elgin will be offering a spectacular array of local specialties in the Food Court at FoxFireFest, taking place from August 1st -3rd in Festival Park, 132 S. Grove Avenue, in downtown Elgin. Fourteen vendors from in and around the Elgin area will be on hand to offer a variety of culinary delights throughout the three day festival, opening at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, August 1.

FoxFireFest, the City of Elgin’s signature annual event, will be incorporating the 49th annual AAUW Fine Arts Fest along with a wide variety of musical performers, food vendors and unique children’s activities throughout the weekend. The event is made possible through the generous support from our Special Event Season Sponsors - Comcast, and the Daily Herald as well as the FoxFireFest “Soft Candlelight” sponsors- Bank of America, Best Buy, City Beverage, Davey Tree Expert Co., Hitchcock Design Group, Y103.9/Star 105.5 FM, PanCor Construction and Waste Management as well as numerous other individual contributing sponsors.
The event is free to the public. Free parking is available throughout all downtown city-owned parking facilities, with free trolley service at peak festival hours. Shuttle service will also be provided to off-site parking on a limited basis at peak festival hours on Saturday and Sunday only.
