Kids of all ages will enjoy Golf Frisbee, “Rec in the Streets” games, as well as demonstrations of sepak takraw, a very popular Southeast Asian sport that is best described as a combination of soccer, volleyball and gymnastics, presented by the Lao-America Organization. Representatives from the Bandits will be on site with information about their upcoming season in their new home at Judson University in Elgin.
Guests will also have the opportunity to learn more about the Elgin community by touring the Westpoint Garden model homes. Eleven models will be open and filled with displays, giveaways and demonstrations from the City of Elgin, community and civic organizations, and area businesses. Food samples from several area restaurants will be featured throughout the patio areas of the model homes.
