[ARCHIVED] Non-Emergency City Offices Closed & Trash Collection Delayed over Thanksgiving Holiday

Solid waste collections scheduled for Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 25th will be delayed by one day due to the holiday. Collections normally scheduled for Thursday will take place on Friday, November 26th, with Friday’s collection taking place on Saturday, November 27th. The most recent edition of the City’s Spirit Newsletter, incorrectly stated that there would be no trash pick-up on Friday, November 26th. Waste Management will resume their normal solid waste schedule on Monday, November 29th.

All non-emergency City offices will be closed on Thursday, November 25th and on Friday, November 26th in observance of the Thanksgiving Day holiday.

Waste Management will continue to collect bagged leaves and other yard waste through Friday, December 3, 2004. The weekly yard waste collection program will resume in April 2005. City crews will continue to collect loose leaves in specified areas, weather permitting, through Tuesday, November 30th.
