Residents from two Elgin neighborhoods are invited to attend a park planning meeting April 29, 2008, at 7 p.m. in The Centre’s West Conference Room as part of the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board’s regular meeting.
Residents that live in the southeast section of Elgin can review the Concept Plan for the new neighborhood park near the intersection of Illinois and Hammond Avenues.
New residents that live in the Copper Springs subdivision will be able to comment on plans for a new park to be located between South Water Road, Copper Springs Lane and Kyra Lane.
The final site plan and options for the playground and shelter design will be discussed.
