As the result of an ongoing investigation between the Elgin Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigations into gang and drug activity in the City of Elgin, nine people were arrested this morning.
Those arrested are:
Victor M Botti, 60 yoa, 300 block Gifford - 2 counts Delivery of Controlled Substance, Class 1 Felony
Rose M. Marrero, 44yoa, 1100 blk Ash - 1 count Delivery of Controlled Substance, Class 1 Felony
Adali Soto, 49yoa, 400 blk Raymond - 2 counts Delivery of Controlled Substance, Class 2 Felony; 1 count Delivery of Controlled Substance, Class 1 Felony; 1 count Unlawful Callculated Criminal Drug Conspiracy, Class X Felony
Charles J, Edgeston, 32yoa, S. Gifford - 1 count Delivery of Controlled Substance, Class 1 Felony
Jamie Mondragon, 44yoa, 400 blk Oak - 1 count Unlawful Criminal Drug Conspiracy, Class 4 Felony
Angel L. Vega, 47yoa, 400 blk Lowrie - 1 count Unlawful Calculated Criminal Drug Conspiracy, Class X Felony
Timothy J. Tully, 51yoa, 1000 blk Bluff City - 1 count Unlawful Criminal Drug Conspiracy, Class 4 Felony
David Bognar, 37yoa, 600 Lucille, S. Elgin - 1 count Unlawful Criminal Drug Conspiracy, Class 4 Felony
