[ARCHIVED] Temporary Parking Restrictions To Be Implemented

To help improve leaf collection services, the City of Elgin is implementing temporary parking restrictions in the area bounded by East Chicago Street, between Villa Ct. and South Channing Street, and Villa Street beginning Wednesday, Oct. 31 through Wednesday, Nov. 21 from 5 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Parking Not Allowed:
Wednesday Oct 31-Odd Numbered Address Wednesday, Nov.7-Even-Numbered Address Wednesday, Nov.14-Odd-Numbered Address Wednesday,Nov. 21-Even-Numbered Address
Parking Allowed:
Wednesday, Oct 31-Even-Numbered Address
Wednesday, Nov 7-Odd-Numbered Address
Wednesday, Nov 14-Even-Numbered Address
Wednesday, Nov 21-Odd-Numbered Address

Signs will be posted each week in the area as an additional reminder to all residents.

The temporary restrictions will be applied to alternating sides of streets each week as follows:

Vehicles parked in the violation of these restrictions will be ticketed and towed at the owner’s expense.
