Elgin Parks and Recreation Department will be hosting a fun, yet educational
Intercession Nature Camp at Hawthorne Hill Nature Center, 28 Brookside Drive
November 19 – 21 from 9 am - noon. Topics will include: the ecosystems of
Hawthorne Hill, plants, animals, fall migration, weather and more. Each session
will offer new opportunities to discover and enjoy the natural world. The
registration fee of $47 for Elgin residents and $56 for non-residents will also
include a campfire lunch for everyone to enjoy on the last day of camp at noon, so
please plan to stay for pie iron pizza with your child.
