Moms, did you ever wish you could learn the skills to create braids in your daughter’s hair? The Elgin Parks & Recreation Department will be holding classes for Moms and Daughters to spend some time together while learning to braid hair. Classes will be held on Wednesday, September 19 from 6:00-8:30, on Friday, October 12 from 1:00-3:30 p.m., or on Wednesday, October 24 from 6:00-8:30 p.m. Classes will be held at West Ridge Community Church located at 3300 Encounter Lane, Elgin. Registration is done in advance through the Elgin Parks and Recreation Department located at 100 Symphony Way, Elgin. The resident fee is $22 per couple/ $26.40 non-resident fee per couple.
