The Elgin Parks & Recreation Department will be holding a Jewelry Making Class for Kids aged 8-11 year olds on Monday, October 8 or Friday, November 9 . Classes will meet from 1:00 -2:00 p.m. and will be held at West Ridge Community Church located at 3300 Encounter Lane, Elgin. Girls will learn how to create an ankle bracelet, necklace and a bracelet while working with brightly colored beads in assorted colors and shapes. Registration is done in advance through the Elgin Parks and Recreation Department located at 100 Symphony Way, Elgin. The resident fee is $15 per student/ $18 non-resident fee per student.
