[ARCHIVED] FoxFireFest Food Vendors

Plans are being finalized for FoxFireFest, Elgin’s new art and culture event, taking place at Festival Park from August 3-5th. Among the entertainment and fun activities, one of the most important aspects of any festival is the food selection, and FoxFireFest has a stellar line-up of area food vendors offering a wide selection of dishes.

The following vendors will be included at the festival:

Friday, August 3, Opens 5:00 p.m.
Mom doesn’t have to spend all day packing a picnic basket this year because, for the first time, food and beverages will be available for purchase at the Elgin Symphony Orchestra concert on Friday evening! Beginning at 5:00 p.m., Cuisine America will be offering an assortment of dishes, including desserts and Geno's will be selling both white and red wines. Miller products and Mike's Hard Lemonade will also be for sale in the beer stations. So bring your folding chairs and blankets and enjoy the free concert, but leave the cooking to us!

Saturday, August 4 & Sunday August 5 , Opens 12:00 noon

Jalapenos Restaurant-Flautas, Tamales, Bombasas

Tent 3
Dairy Queen– Blizzards, DillyBars, Starkiss & Non-fat bars, chocolate covered bananas
Gasthaus Zur Linde– Thuringer, Bratwurst
Chinese Wok– Combo Fried Rice, Egg Roll, Crab Rangoon
Los Girasoles– Elote en Baso (corn on the cob), Huaraches, Gorditas
Dem Bones & J. J. Peppers– Bar-B-Que Ribs & Chicken Legs, Italian Ice

Food can be purchased from each individual food vendor, however separate tickets will be sold for soft drinks, water, beer and hard lemonade purchases. Proceeds from the sale of food and beverages will go to offset the cost of this free festival. The public is reminded that no alcohol can be brought into the park from the outside. Alcoholic beverages must be purchased and consumed in the designated area within the park.
