[ARCHIVED] FoxFireFest Volunteers Needed

FoxFire Fest is Elgin’s newest art and culture event, taking place at Festival Park from August 3-5th. FoxFire Fest will incorporate the best elements of the previous Fine Arts Fest, while showcasing the wide variety of art, theatre and music groups from the local area. Friday and Saturday nights will offer main stage entertainment such as the Elgin Symphony Orchestra, Buckingham’s, and Outlaws, followed by amazing riverfront pyrotechnic shows

The City is looking for volunteers to assist with a variety of services including the information booth, kids and teen activities, bike corral monitors, and refuse pick up. The shifts available are as follows:

Friday, August 3rd
4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Saturday, August 4th
11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
8 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Sunday, August 5th
11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
