The Elgin Image Advisory Commission is currently seeking nominations from the community for the 2004 Elgin Image Awards. This annual event seeks to recognize outstanding individuals, projects, organizations or businesses which have enhanced the image of our community. The principle criteria for the Image Awards is simple—who or what, has made a substantial contribution to the improvement of Elgin's Image.
In addition to the Image Advisory Awards, the Commission also presents a Citizenship Award. This award is designed to recognize individuals whose outstanding activities and efforts exemplify the meaning of citizenship.
