The Asian American Community of Elgin (AACE) will be hosting its second annual Asian Pacific American Heritage Month (APAHM) Celebration. This will be the first time an Asian cultural event will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2007 at the Centre of Elgin Heritage Ballroom, 100 Symphony Way, downtown Elgin. The festivities begin at 6:00 PM.
A “Splendid Evening” dinner follow by cultural Asian dance performances and fashion show promises to be one of Elgin’s premier cultural and community bonding event of the year. This is a fund raising event within the greater Elgin community. Guests will enjoy an enticing experience with cash bar cocktail reception, view spirited arts and handicrafts exhibition displays and participate in fun raffles for charity.
Ticket sales are open to the public on a first contact, first serve basis limited seating.
