The Hill, located at the Elgin Sports Complex, is the Chicago area's premier BMX track. The BMX Season runs from April 8 until October 28. Sanctioned Races are on Saturdays with practice and registration from 10:30 until Noon. The races begin at 1:00 PM. Also, weeknight races begin on Tuesday, June 8. Instructional Clinics are offered on selected weekends to provide bicyclists with an introduction to riding and racing safety. The track is open for practice and recreational riding from dawn until dusk except when clinics and sanctioned races are being held.
