[ARCHIVED] Clara Howard Park Meeting

Residents of the Summit Park Neighborhood and the community at large are invited to a public input meeting to assist in the planning process for renovating Clara Howard Park. The meeting will take place Thursday, February 15th at 7:00 p.m. at the Bethesda Community Church Development Center located at 453 Freemont Street located across from the park.

The meeting will provide an open forum for residents to share their ideas for enhancing the park and playground. City staff will also discuss opportunities and challenges regarding the site, the project budget, and the projected time line for construction. Input from the meeting will be used to create a Master Plan for proposed improvements which will be presented at a second public meeting.

“Public input meetings are a very important aspect in the planning and development of all of our park projects, and this is a great opportunity for residents and users of the park to get involved,” said Jeremy Helton, the City’s Park Development Coordinator.
