[ARCHIVED] Squad Design Contest

Squad Design Contest

Are your kids (ages 17 and under) looking for something community-minded to do during the stay at home order?

How about a fun EPD design-a-squad contest? πŸš“πŸš“πŸš“πŸš“πŸš“

We want to spotlight the artwork of one of our very own on one side of a police squad to promote education. This has been a challenging time for students and teachers and we want to show our support, and what better way than to partner with our kids?

The kids of EPD officers will also be competing to design the other side of the police squad. Once the winners are picked we will work with our sponsors and transform both winner’s designs into a real-life police squad, to be revealed this summer!

Please download this flyer and create your design. Of course, it must be appropriate and the art must show how the police and our community work together.

Please submit your design to Commander Jim Bisceglie at Bisceglie_j@cityofelgin.org by May 6, 2020, at 5pm.

**The winner will be selected by EPD Staff and must be a resident of Elgin.**

If you are unable to print the coloring page please contact Commander Bisceglie for a copy.
