[ARCHIVED] Solid Waste Collection Delayed due to Thanksgiving Day Holiday

Solid waste collections scheduled for Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 23rd will be delayed by one day due to the holiday. Collections normally scheduled for Thursday will take place on Friday, November 24th, with Friday’s collection taking place on Saturday, November 25th. Waste Management will resume their normal solid waste schedule on Monday, November 27th.

All non-emergency City offices will be closed on Thursday, November 23rd and on Friday, November 24th in observance of the Thanksgiving Day holiday.

Waste Management will continue to collect bagged leaves and other yard waste free of charge through Friday, December 1, 2006. City crews will also continue to collect loose leaves in specified areas, weather permitting, through Friday, December 1, 2006. The City’s weekly yard waste collection program will resume in April 2007.
