The 10th Annual Elgin Short Film Festival brings the glitz and glam of Hollywood to downtown Elgin, and as always it promises to be an entertaining evening of some of the very best in short films by some of the very best up-and-coming filmmakers. You are invited to this fantastic and unique event! The screening of the films submitted for this year's festival will start at 7pm with the Red Carpet arrival at 6pm and a special live music presentation by the Chamber Music on the Fox during the event with original piece by Steven Ingle that will accompany the screening of the 1902 French adventure silent film “A Trip to the Moon".
Mike Toomey, comedian and integral part of the WGN TV morning show, will return to Emcee the event.
The films, no more than 20 minutes in length, are rated PG, making this a great family event. The screenings include a showing of the finalists. Winners will be selected by an ESFF judging panel and audience members - that's right! Don't forget, you get to vote for your favorite film at intermission!
