[ARCHIVED] Not in Our Town | The Fire Next Time
Join us on Thursday, June 15, 7 p.m., at the Gail Borden Public Library (270 N. Grove Ave. in the Meadows Community Rooms) for The Fire Next Time, which profiles a rapidly growing community caught in a web of conflicts. After domestic terror cell's plot to kill local leaders is uncovered, the citizens of Flathead Valley must decide what to do. Ex-cop Brenda Kitterman and environmentalist Mike Raimen discover that standing up has its consequences. The story reflects on some of the country's most critical issues: the role of media in spreading intolerance, the high stakes in battle over growth, and the increasingly polarized political atmosphere.
