The Elgin Police Department will host its annual awards ceremony on Tuesday, February 21, 2017, at The Centre of Elgin's Heritage Ballroom, 100 Symphony Way. Citizens, civilians and police officers will receive awards for exceptional contributions during the 2016 year. Chief Swoboda will also be presenting the civilian, rookie, officer, and manager of the year awards.
This event is open to the public and all are invited to attend. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. and the ceremony will be held from 7-9 p.m.
