On May 11, 2016 from 12-4 p.m., the Elgin Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association will be in the Elgin Police Department lobby selling "We Support EPD" yard lights. This is a fundraiser for the Elgin Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association. Money raised from the sale of these lights will go toward funding the volunteer organization that supports EPD through various activities and projects. The lights also help raise awareness and support for law enforcement.
