The City of Elgin is hosting an open house/tour of available commercial properties in Downtown Elgin on Tuesday, September 12, 2006 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. All commercial property owners and managers in the downtown/Center City area are invited to participate. To date, 15 buildings have registered to be included in the event.
The open house will showcase the wide variety of downtown spaces currently available to businesses looking for new office or retail space. Visitors will be able to view everything from first- floor storefront locations ideal for restaurants or trendy shops, to larger office spaces available in commercial buildings such as the Tower and Professional Buildings. Representatives from each participating building will be on hand to show their space and provide detailed information on rental or sale prices.
Participation is free. Attendees can pre-register on line at the city of Elgin website at www.cityofelgin.org/econdev or call the city at 847-931-5592. Registration the day of the event, will be at the Downtown Neighborhood Association offices at 2 Douglas Avenue.
