The Elgin Police Department has scheduled FREE training, beginning on Tuesday, March 31, 2015, to prepare citizens in basic disaster response skills.The CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) course offers education that will enable residents to support the needs of their family, neighborhood and workplace following disaster. Classes are held Tuesday's and Thursday's for three weeks from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. Register online at the link below.
