Registration is now being taken for the 2006 Elgin Open Tennis Tournament that will be held at Elgin High School. The Singles Tournament will be held Saturday, July 15th and Sunday, July 16th start time is 8 am. The Doubles Tournament will be held Saturday, July 22nd and Sunday, July 23rd. This tournament is open to all ages. 1st and 2nd place finishers will receive plaques. The singles tournament costs $20 for residents and $24 for non residents. The doubles tournament costs $30 per team for residents and $36 per team for non residents. Both tournaments are a single elimination tournament with a consolation bracket.
The registration deadline for the singles tournament is July 8 and the registration deadline for the doubles tournament is July 15. Please register at The Centre of Elgin. The Centre is open Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturdays 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
