The Elgin Police Department announces that they will be conducting a Road Side Safety Check in the upcoming weekend, August 1st – 3rd, 2014. The Elgin Police wishes to remind everyone to wear his or her seatbelts, not to use cell phones while driving, and to not drink alcohol and drive.
