ELGIN – Interested residents are again invited to provide input on the development of Grant School Park Thursday, March 23 at 7 p.m., at the Centre of Elgin, 100 Symphony Way. The meeting is the second in a series to develop the park at 265 N. Jackson St.
“We’re incorporating resident feedback from the first meeting into some concept plans,” said Randy Reopelle, Parks and Recreation Director. “A couple of different concept plans will be displayed for comment.”
The City purchased the Grant School property in 2005 with the purpose of developing a park at the request of the area neighborhood.
