Independent Players presents Samuel Beckett's, Waiting for Godot, at the Elgin Art Showcase.
Waiting for Godot is a play in which two characters, Vladimir and Estragon engage in a variety of discussions and encounters while awaiting Godot, who never arrives. It conveys Beckett’s sense of mystery, bewilderment and anxiety when confronted with the human condition. The dialogue has the quality of the peculiar qualities of the cross-talk of music hall comedians of the 1950s.
