Garbage Bin

Note: Styrofoam and other unrecyclable plastics are accepted in the garbage bin. 

Unacceptable: 

  • Household hazardous waste such as:
    • Paint 
    • Pesticides 
    • Poisons
    • Cleaning Solvents
    • Tanks
    • Automotive Batteries
    • Gasoline
    • Used Oil
    • Other Automobile Fluids

Recycling Bin

Acceptable: 

  • Metal cans 
  • Glass jars and bottles
  • Any paper 
  • Plastic with the numbers 1, 2, 4, or 5 somewhere on the container

Unacceptable:

  • Plastic Bags 
  • Styrofoam
  • Hazardous waste containers
  • Window and mirror glass
  • Light bulbs
  • Toys

Organics Bin

Acceptable: 

  • Food Waste
  • Yard Waste
  • Solid Dairy
  • Baked Goods or Grains
  • Produce
  • Floral

Unacceptable:

  • Meat and Bones
  • Liquids
  • Any Paper
  • Any Plastic
  • Diapers, Wipes, and Bath Tissue
  • Construction Materials
