Does the Hemmens Have Handicap Parking?
Yes, handicap parking is located on the North side of The Hemmens where there are three Handicap parking spots in the semicircular driveway. Additional handicap parking is located on Symphony Way for most events.
Does the Hemmens Have an Elevator?
Yes, there is an elevator that provides access to the lower level restrooms, Exhibition Hall and Art Gallery. However, the elevator does not service the balcony.
Are There Steps in the Theatre?
The main floor is slanted with a grade of about 5%. The balcony is stadium seating, and therefore has stairs leading up to each row as well as stairs leading up to the balcony level. The elevator does not service the balcony.
Does the Theatre Have a Center Aisle?
The Main Floor has continental style seating which has no center aisle, although the individual rows are rather deep. The balcony has three sections with two aisles.
Do You Have Devices to Assist the Hearing Impaired?
Yes. A limited number of Sennheiser Infrared Hearing Devices are available to borrow free of charge for use during all performances on a first come, first served basis. Please stop by the Box Office, and have your drivers’ license or state ID with you.
