Law & Development Services Department

The mission of the Law & Development Services Department is to protect the assets, rights, health and welfare of the public by providing sound and effective legal counsel and services to Elgin’s elected and appointed officers including the Mayor, members of the City Council, the City Manager and the City’s operating departments and to ensure the legal integrity of the decisions and actions of the City.
