Refuse Stickers

These purple stickers are required to dispose of trash in excess of the 64 gallon garbage cart, bulky items and yard waste. The cost is $3.36 each.

*Note: Stickers are not required for yard waste in April, October and November.

Extra refuse container with sticker

Residents may use their own refuse can to dispose of extra refuse. The can must be 40 gallons or less and weigh less than 45 pounds. The sticker must be affixed to the handle of the can so it can be removed by the driver when can is emptied. If you would like the driver to dispose of the can and its contents, please place the sticker on the can itself along with note that says, "Please take can."

Appliance Stickers

These silver stickers are required to dispose of the following major appliances: hot water heaters, dishwashers, refrigerators, freezers, stoves, washers, dryers, dehumidifiers, and air conditioners. Cost is $37.16 each. When disposing of an appliance please contact Waste Management customer service 1-800-796-9696 to notify them in advance that an appliance will be disposed of.
