The Parks & Recreation Fall Acitvites Brochure 2008 is now online, along with the Summer 2008 Activities Brochure . Take a look and see what activities and events the Parks & Recreation Department has planned for Elgin!  After you open the brochure, click on Bookmarks on the left side of the window.  That will let you jump to the area you want.

You can now register online for the Fall 2008 activities.  Before attempting to register online, please stop by any of our courtesy desks at The Centre, 100 Symphony Way, and get your Login ID and Pin number.  Or you can request your Login ID and Pin Number from Online Registration by clicking on My Account tab and clicking on Request New Account Button.  Please note, if you are a resident of the City of Elgin, you must verify your residency in person.

The Parks & Recreation Department works with the Northern Illinois Special Recreation Association (NISRA) to provide recreational opportunities for residents with disabilities.

The City of Elgin owns and operates 2 municipal golf courses, The Highlands of Elgin Golf Course and Wing Park Golf Course.

 

The Elgin Sports Complex, features 10 lighted softball fields, 10 full size soccer fields, The Hill, The Chicago area's premier BMX track, and 2 sand volleyball courts.

 

The Hemmens Cultural Center offers you the rare opportunity to experience legendary entertainers and world-class performing artists in an intimate setting.
