Personal History
Officer Hood was born in DeKalb, Illinois, but moved to Wisconsin soon after. He grew up in small towns in southern Wisconsin and attended the University of Wisconsin. Officer Hood was married to his wife, Lisa, in October 1996. They have a six-year-old son, Carson, and three-year-old daughter, Devin. They enjoy spending time together watching and playing football. Officer Hood is a die-hard Packers fan and enjoys the friendly rivalry with his D.A.R.E. students who are Bears fans.

Being a D.A.R.E. Officer
What Officer Hood enjoys most about being a D.A.R.E. officer is having fun with the D.A.R.E. students while teaching them how to make the best decisions for themselves. He also enjoys learning how each student learns just a little differently than anyone else and helping each of them find their own best way to learn.
