Salary range: $66,635 to $91,062 in steps; plus a comprehensive benefit package (pending change to contact). Longevity pay after ten years of service.
Police Pension Fund: 9.91% employee contribution. Eligible for retirement at age 55 with minimum of 20 years of service.
Section 457 Investment Plans: The city offers three deferred compensation plans. Invest money pre-tax.
Health Insurance: PPO and HMO plan (20% employee contribution currently required).
Vacation: 2 weeks after one year of employment. One week increases after each 7 years up to a maximum of 5 weeks.
Sick Leave: Accrued at the rate of 2 ½ weeks per year
