The 2019 Chicago Ballet Conservatory production of “The Nutcracker,” presented by Elgin Symphony Orchestra, will take place Saturday, December 7 at 2:00pm and 7:00pm and Sunday, December 8 at 2:00pm. Local dancers and actors share the stage with seasoned professionals to create an inclusive production full of elaborate and enchanting surprises. Directed by Linda Cunningham, this will truly be the must-see performance of the holiday season! Promising to be one of the most captivating and creative suburban reprisals, the performance will feature international professionals including Elina Miettinen (ABT), Sean Stewart (ABT), Raoni Xavier (Bolshoi Brazil), Roger Hendricks Simon (star of stage and screen), Violetta Komyshan and additional global cast surprises. Performances include live pre-show entertainment by The Chancel Choir of Chicago.

Due to sold out performances, this year’s event returns to the beautiful Hemmens Cultural Center in Elgin with an added third show. Promising to be one of the most captivating and creative suburban reprisals, the performance will feature international professionals including Elina Miettinen (ABT), Sean Stewart (ABT), Raoni Xavier (Bolshoi Brazil), Roger Hendricks Simon (star of stage and screen), Violetta Komyshan and additional global cast surprises.

Performances include live pre-show entertainment by The Chancel Choir of Chicago.This year will also include the option of a very special “Sugar Plum Tea” party on Saturday, December 7 at 4:30pm, giving participants the chance to meet cast members, take pictures with characters and dine on sumptuous treats.

**When purchasing tickets from Brown Bag Tickets:
  1. Select performance date and time desired.
  2. Select quantity and type of ticket(s) desired.
  3. Select delivery method and click the ADD TO CART button.
  4. The seat(s) auto-selected for you will appear in orange on the seating chart.

  1. Click the LET ME CHOOSE MY OWN SEATS button below the seating chart.
  2. Deselect the auto-selected seats in orange by clicking on each one individually.
  3. *****Please note if you are getting tickets that are not all the same price or on the same floor there will be multiple seating charts you will be looking at.  Please make sure to select the proper seat and location on each chart so you can sit together if you want to be together for the performance. (if you hover over the seat you are selecting it will tell you the row and seat number which will make it easier when working between multiple seating charts).
  4. After you have selected the seats you want, click the SAVE SEATS button below the lowest seating chart.
  5. A new seating chart will pop-up on the next page showing the seats you have selected in orange as a group.  If this looks right, click the NEXT button below the seating chart.
  6. Review the ticket information and pricing before you click the CHECK OUT NOW! button.
