An Elgin tradition since 1868, this year’s program will pay tribute to the 75th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor with a keynote address by Lieutenant Adrienne Benton, staff chaplain from Great Lakes Naval Training Station. Local veterans who served during World War II will also be recognized.

Conducted by the Elgin Navy Club, 'the program will feature the Elgin Master Chorale and honor veterans interred at sea. The keynote speaker will be Keith Wodarski - a U.S. Navy veteran from the Vietnam War. Service ends with the strewing of flowers into the Fox River, rifle salute, and the playing of Taps.

Dedicated to all returning veterans, the program will pay tribute to the 75th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor - a tragedy that claimed the lives of two Elgin men along with over 2400 others. The keynote address will be given by Lieutenant"Adrienne Benton, Staff Chaplain from Training Support Center, Great Lakes. World War II veterans in attendance will also be recognized. Also, featured will be the Northwest Baptist Academy Marching Eagles and the Elgin Master Chorale.
