Permit Applications

Permit Process

  1. The first step in obtaining a permit is completing an application. Once you determine which application is needed for your project, fill out the application online, print it, and bring it in for processing. All applications must be printed and delivered as a hard copy to the Community Development department located at City Hall.
  2. If you property is a designated landmark or located in a historic district, you will need a Certificate of Appropriateness / Solicitud para el Certificado de Obra Apropriada for any changes to the exterior of your property.
  3. Submit your application with the application fee and required documents.
  4. A plan review will be conducted when necessary.
  5. A permit will be issued and work can begin.
